the hostel is perfectly situated for the adventurous keen to dabble
in some horse riding and water sports, or for the more sedate looking
to just soak up the beautiful location. In the summer months you can
wait until low tide and wade across to Middle Island to see first hand
a small Fairy Penguin colony. In the winter months you can also enjoy
whale watching. Just a short drive from the hostel is the Tower Hill
Reserve, a retreat for an abundance of wildlife including koalas and
emus - the perfect guests to share a picnic. Warrnambool Beach Backpackers
is the perfect base to explore all the tourist
attractions the Shipwreck Coast has to offer. |
